Visas – you will need a visa to enter Vietnam, which can be obtained from the Vietnamese Embassy in your home country, or you can use an online visa service.
Complete an application online, present your confirmation letter (emailed to you) at your departure airport and then collect your visa upon arrival in HCMC.
Money – Vietnamese Dong (VND) is the local currency, which can easily be obtained through local exchanges in HCMC.

We’ve marked a few reputable exchanges on the District 1 map, many places accept Credit / Debit card transactions plus there are lots of ATM’s, but both normally incur a small fee.
